On the surface, they couldn't be more different. But look closer, and both disciplines are really about the same thing: shaping how people feel in a space, not just how it looks.

A villa is designed around one family's rhythm — how they move through their mornings, host guests, unwind in the evening. A restaurant is designed around hundreds of strangers passing through the same space every week, each one needing to feel comfortable, cared for, and unhurried during their short time there. Same design principles, completely different scale of intimacy.

Getting the Flow Right

Whether it's a villa hallway or a restaurant floor plan, poor spatial flow is the fastest way to undermine great decor. In villas, awkward flow creates a home that never quite feels "right," even with beautiful finishes. In restaurants, it creates bottlenecked service and tables nobody wants to sit at. We approach both the same way — mapping how people actually move before finalizing a single design element.
